About the House

Streamside is packed with fun for everyone: Hot tub, sauna, coffee and tea bar, game area, fire pit, grill, hammock grove, Wi-Fi, fully stocked kitchen, and laundry room. We can’t take credit however for our best amenity- the stream!

Even though we provide a ton of things (from band-aids to bug spray to beach towels), you may want to consider bringing the following which we don’t provide:

  • Personal toiletries (we do provide feminine products as well as shampoo, conditioner, and body wash)

  • Chargers

  • Sunscreen

  • Food (we do provide the basics — salt, pepper, spices, and cooking oil)

  • Baby gear if traveling with little ones

We are happy to provide firewood for our guests. Simply go into the garage, where it’s kept dry, and grab some!

Cornhole, horseshoes, and axe throwing!

Our Wi-Fi is amazing. We pay for the best internet we can and upgraded our router to consistently hit well over 500mbs download speeds anywhere in the house.

Booking

While Traverse City and the surrounding area is known for being a Summer destination, the winter brings its own charm with a year-round flowing stream cutting into the snow providing you a gorgeous view. Fall brings jaw-dropping foliage and cooler weather, and smaller crowds! Spring is amazing for seeing the flowers bloom from the thawing land. Our advice? Visit whenever you can.

We do offer discounts! Longer stays (7+ days) and last minute bookings both get automatic discounts applied. If you join our mailing list or have already stayed with us, keep an eye out in your inbox for promotional codes!

You’ll receive a 75% refund if you cancel more than 60 days before arrival, and a 50% refund if you cancel 31–60 days before arrival. No refund is available for cancellations made within 30 days of arrival. A 24-hour grace period applies for free cancellation after booking, as long as check-in is at least 15 days away.
We welcome pets! We do ask for a pet fee to cover the costs of a more extensive clean afterwards and the additional wear and tear on the home.

Kitchen and Dining

Yes, our kitchen is fully stocked! We have all the cooking utensils and equipment one would need to cook a homemade meal, as well as cooking oils and basic spices. Bring your own groceries and you’re ready to go.

We have a full coffee and tea bar overlooking the backyard, with creamer, sugar, and multiple flavors!

Take off the grill cover, rotate the valve connecting the propane tank, and you’re all set! Grill tools are right there for you to use, hanging on the grill.

Yes! There are many restaurants that deliver to our address via UberEats, Grubhub, and other major delivery services.
